MAGGIE

She was sleeping with her ball on the car seat as I traveled home
after picking her up from Barstow, California. Maggie. I decided to keep
her name and wondered how it would work to introduce her to my big rescue
shepherd and my "grandma" yellow lab. No problem. She seemed a little
intimidated by Riley's size and his lack of body awareness. Now they play
together with Riley laying on the floor and Maggie jumping on his
head. Maggie has got a ball thing that can get to be too much. But if I am
laying on the couch, she will lay on me with the ball in her mouth looking
up at me so sweetly .The other thing she likes to do is attack the water out
of the hose when I am watering the patio plants. She looks different when
she is wet. I know she has had her problems. Like not getting quite out the
doggie door to potty or attacking my shoes when I come in the house after
work (But, Mom, I am getting better!) Or, dragging the largest rawhide
around the house when I gave it to Riley. Most of all adopting Maggie has
blessed me with an adoring fan. Who could not want that privilege.
