Allie - Special Needs

Allie - Spring 2012 Update

Allie has had ear surgery and is doing well. Unfortunately she still has other health issues and will be on meds for the rest of her life. She continues to need lots of medical attention so we greatly appreciate any donations to help defray some of the costs associated with her medical needs. Her rough life has caused many reoccurring infections and issues. Thanks to many of your donations that helps us keep her pain free.

If you are able to help us to continue to provide Allie with her medical needs, please consider donating to our all volunteer, not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization by making a donation via PayPal.  PayPal is a safe, secure, and easy way to donate to the Southwest Cairn Rescue.  Please click on the "Donate" graphic below.

Thank you for your generosity!

Allie is a very sad story. She has been very neglected for many years. She has allergies that have been left untreated, she is over weight, has some lumps and has horrible teeth. She was turned over to our rescue and we are hopeful we can get her back on track with a good diet, medicated baths, supplements, medications and lots of TLC!  She will also need to have some surgeries. She is the sweetest thing and deserves a better life than she had so far.  She gets along fine with other dogs. She sleeps in her crate at night without a peep. Allie is 6 years old.

Allie is not available for adoption right now but we would greatly appreciate any tax deductable donations to help with her dietary and medical needs. Allie and all the volunteers at Southwest Cairn Rescue would like to thank everyone that has donated in order to get her ready for her new forever home!  Again, thank you very much for helping our rescue organization with your tax deductable contributions to help Allie!

If you are interested in adopting this little sweetheart when she is ready for placement, please complete and Adoption Application soon.

Allie is located in Oceanside, CA.

Update:  Miss Allie is very friendly!  During a recent visit to the vet, she was very good and friendly. Allie wanted everyone to talk to her.  Miss Friendly is her new nick name!  (A future forever family is going to be very happy with this little lady!)
